Letters from St. Petersburg

Letters from St. Petersburg is an extension of Lotte Nielsen's previous artistic work documenting groups of young LGBTQ + people across different cultures, most recently in Turkey, the US and now Russia.

Haus of Dragons

The film depicts a group of young people from the LGBT club at Bogazici University in Istanbul, who live under the repressive norms of the Erdogan regime.

YAOI Istanbul

In the Istanbul edition of the project, young people from an LGBT group at a university in Istanbul open up thir personal lives: first sexual encounters, relationships with parents, even thoughts of suicide.

YAOI Copenhagen

The film was made with a group of young members of the LGBT community, who grew up on the outskirts of Copenhagen. As a response to their personal isolation, they discover an abandoned cinema

YAOI Long Island

At the Watermill Center on Long Island, New York, where a group young LGBT members interact for the first time socially in play, in conversation, and even swimming.
